To improve the chances of a better job integration for people with visual impairments at the Rhein-Main area, the Vocational Retraining Centre Berufsförderungswerk Frankfurt am Main cooperates closely with the Vocational Retraining Centre Berufsförderungswerk Düren, the Deutsche Blin-denstudienanstalt e.V. and the Frankfurter Stiftung für Blinde und Sehbehinderte..This cooperation combines the many years of experience of the companies involved and provides for the regional integration process of this group of people.

The focus of this cooperation is on advisory services for people with visual impairments. (Die Er-kenntnisse aus diesen Gesprächen münden in einen individuellen Integrationsplan, der verschiedene Qualifizierungswege vorhält, die in den Einrichtungen der Kooperationspartner durchgeführt werden können.)

Often people who are affected by visual impairments do not know which steps they have to take to get a job retraining. Therefore the Vocational Retraining Centre Berufsförderungswerk Frankfurt am Main established an advisory service hotline.
