Disabled women in specific circumstances

The employment promotion for disabled women and men and their integration into the first job market is a key aspect of the European and German policy. The ultimate ambition of the code of social law SGB IX is an equal participation of disabled people in working and social environment. However academic studies attest, that more than 25% of disabled women do not find an adequate job. To improve this circumstance, the government passed a law in the code of social law (SGB IX, §33, Abs. 9). This regulation will improve the circumstances for women to get equal chances in find-ing a job. The Vocational Retraining Centre Berufsförderungswerk Frankfurt am Main meets the guidelines and claims of the code of social law. We offer apartments for mothers with children. During the job training we cooperate with a nearby kindergarden and schools. A BFW-shuttle service assures the safe transportation of the kids.
