Target groups – Who can be trained at the Vocational Retraining Centre Berufsförderungswerk Frankfurt am Main?

Anyone can be affected by health impairments and disabilities owing to illness or in case of an accident, for example, a truck driver suffering from a herniated disk, a master painter who has fallen off a ladder or a banker who suffers from burnout due to a high stress exposure. Often those people can no longer work in their former profession because of their disabilities. For this group of persons as well as for people with impairments or disabilities since birth the German legislature passed a law in the code of social law (SGB IX, §33) that provides the opportunity of reintegration into the job market to employees with impairments or disabilities

Our services have to prove their significance in daily cooperation with rehabilitation funds, employers, participants and the job market. According to this, our offers and their quality are subject to an ongoing improvement – from the assessment up to assisting the integration of disabled people into the job market. Together with the rehabilitation funds, we are responsible for offering adequate vocational perspectives for people with impairments due to accidents or illness. As a matter of course this involves a competent advisory service on the basis of practical assessment methods. With our assessment offer, we make sure that we put rehabilitation on a successful foundation right from the start. The broad spectrum of qualifications, which is permanently updated, meets the requirements of the changing job market and leaves nothing to be desired.
